Andy Grammer got it right. It is difficult to go on with life and not get down due to my recent diagnosis. And, to bring the rain clouds in a little darker, my recent CT showed a second dissection on the right. Luckily I have an amazing family that I get to do great things with and I am looking forward to the day that I am completely healed. I have had so many happy memories in my life lately to distract me and make me thankful. Yes, I'm a little behind in my blogging. Here we go.
Ashley had an amazing ballet recital! She tapped her little buns off. So proud of her!
I had a wonderful Mother's Day. The kids made me homemade picture frames and each gave me a shirt I had been wanting. We had brunch and a bbq, and all in all it was an awesome day with family.

Keep your head up high, Jackie. It's time now to let others take care of you, instead of the other way around. For so many months and years, you were (and are) caretaker of three living, healthy, happy beings, as well as caretaker of a good husband. Now it is those people's turns (and others in your life) to take care of you, and the advice here is to slow down. Oh, and another advice is "listen to your dad". But I think you probably got the "I told you so" look from him and others by now, so I won't ponder that point anymore. :P Sweet Jackie, my dear friend: You are an angel to Three. You make everyone and anyone so very Happy. Let's take it slow for a few more weeks, maybe months. So that you'll live a very long time to see those kids ballet, swim, dance, and punt. You're stronger than you think, and here to you...is a virtual wink! -Ur friend Pok
