Ballet Recital

The much anticipated ballet recital has arrived! Ashley has been telling every person she knows that she is in a ballet recital and that she wants them to bring her flowers. It was the cutest thing ever- so proud of my little girl for having no fear in front of all of those people!!!

Colton and Daddy brought their own flowers for little miss- so did everyone else. She had so many flowers she coudn't even carry them!

BABY #3 is a.....

GIRL!!!!!

I've actually known this for a few weeks (one of the job perks of being a sonographer). I just haven't gotten around to posting it. I realized at around 12 weeks that I wanted a girl because the old nursery was 1/2 pink teddy bear wallpaper from when Ashley was in there. Tyler and I just experienced taking down wallpaper in our downstairs bathroom as we remodeled it, and I certainly didn't want to do that again. So thank goodness! If she's anything like Ashley: bows, princess dresses, makeup, nail polish, and ballet here we come!!! Now, just a name... hmmm...

Mother's Day

What a wonderful day! I am so very blessed to have two very special little people that call me mommy. They bring a smile to my face every time I look at them. Love you, love you, my little Colton and Ashley!


All of the moms at California Cafe on Mother's Day. We had a great brunch and enjoyed the beautiful day!

They had a stand where the kids could make bouquets for the moms... the twins loved it!

This was the 1st year the kids made me a present (thanks to preschool. They made me cute bags filled with hot cocoa and hershey's kisses. They also filled out forms about me, and it was so cute I am going to keep it forever. Colton wrote, "my mom is as pretty as a bow". Ashley wrote, "my mom is as pretty as a circle". I cracked up! I love the minds of little 3 year olds!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there (especially mine)- it's the hardest job in the world but it's for sure the VERY best!!!
