Blizzard?

Soooo, it wasn't exactly a blizzard. But, we definitely got a big ol' snow. We had a ton of fun playing in it. This is the first year we've actually been able to enjoy it, and I am so excited to get back out there. I like to blame the kids for the need to play in it, but I am definitely a Colorado girl at heart, and love the snowmen and the snowcaves.

The plow coming down our culdesac. Almost hit the poor mailman there.

Ashley loved making "Ashley Prints". This was the closest she could get to a snow angel. Oh well, a crumply body print is just as cool.

She kept eating it. I promise I feed her.

Coton has his way of being a pain. He refused to wear gloves and began merrily playing away in the snow. About 2 minutes after this picture, he screamed. He quickly ran inside and agreed to keep them on.

Lunchtime! Colton also refused to take a family pic. He was at the counter spreading some pb on his sandwich. He was hungry, don't blame him. Ashley was happy to pose though, rosy cheeks and all :).

Sooters!!!!

We have been enjoying this wonderful nice weather and busted out our scooters. After about 1 hour of my putting them together, and 2 little people crawling all over me in our driveway.... here we go!!!! We love them. If Colton and Ashley could, they would "sooter" all day. (they don't say the "c").

Colton was suprisingly a much better sooterer than Ashley. (She is a little more agile, love ya bud, but it's true). However, he scootered his little heart out. He even stops periodically and pretends to fix his scooter.

Here's little miss. She is pretty good, but she mostly hops along and puts things in her purse that's attached (typical Ashley). Then, when she's tired, she drops the scooter and runs off. Smart girl, I guess.

Thank you to "Aunt BB" for our presents! Here is how the afternoon went after receiving them.

We first woke up from our nap to find them while enjoying some popsicles. Ashley wouldn't even look up from her make-up for the picture. Colton was pretty enthralled with the popsicle at first, but then he really dug in.

So, this is the point I left to go make dinner. I heard letters being yelled out and words such as "lip" and "eyeshadow". About 15 minutes later, I returned to find this!

We had a ball. They both actually worked hard at matching up the letters and applied pretty much every item in the box. Thank you so much for these gifts, Belinda!!!!
