Highlighters and Birthdays

This is what happens when you leave a 13 month old alone with a pink highlighter: She colors her eye? I swear in 2.5 seconds she went from taking on and off the cap to coloring her eye. Oops. Sneaky little sucker.

We also celebrated Sandy's Birthday at our house. Lots of kids, lots of food, lots of fun.

And then started the craziness of Christmas...

Parade of Lights

This was the 1st time we have made it to the Parade of Lights. SO FUN! There was a CSU Alumni event that we attended, and luckily the parade went right by the CSU Alumni office and we were able to have hot cocoa and cookies since it was super chilly. Thank you Grandma Kathy and Bompa Mike for a fun night! Go RAMS!

Dinner at The Hard Rock Cafe

CSU Santa

Morgan and Tyler had to go home before the parade started since it was Morgo's bedtime and too cold for her little self. The rest of us bundled up and watched the show :).

Super cool. Love the holidays!

Turkey Day!

The title of this post is actually misleading, since there are no actual pictures from our Thanksgiving day. But, there is one with a turkey :). Yes, there was a real live turkey randomly at the park when the kids and I went. Morgan was OBSESSED with it and chased it around the entire time. Luckily the owner was super nice. Colton and Ashley were scared of it, and stayed high up on the jungle gym.
So, the reason this is called Turkey Day is because of the events that follow the repeated (yes, we celebrate 3 of them) stuffing of our bellies with turkey. Every year the day after Thanksgiving we all get to work on putting up the Christmas decorations. We got it done in 1 day and it looks great. Colton and I were so pleased to listen to KOSI 101 Christmas
Morgan lounged a little, decorated a little.
We kicked off the decorating in the very best way... with a gingerbread house contest. Ashley sampled... a LOT :)
And, along with the cold weather, came our ice skating. The twins love it :). This year I am oh so thankful to be home with my family and for all of our health. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Halloween and 1st Snow

Somehow we didn't get pictures of all of us together in costume? Not sure how that happened. Busy night I guess. Colton was Ironman, Ashley a witch, and Morgan was a tiger. We carved pumpkins, roasted pumpking seeds, and trick or treated.

This is a pic from the Noah's Ark Party. The kids every year have a Noah's Ark Party at preschool instead of a Halloween party. They love it :)

We had a Pumpkin Party for my little Morgo. I truly can't believe she's one. Where did this past year go? I swear she is still a baby. I blinked and she turned into a toddler. Happy Birthday my Little Pumpkin. We love you!!!
A Special Thank you to Aunt Belinda for making the Pumpkin Cake. It was much better than what I had planned and was adorable and delicious! Morgan especially loved the little chocolate polka dots on her very own cake!
I call Noah the Baby Whisperer. My kids all love to hug and love all over him :)
Her 1st Pinata. She thoroughly enjoyed collecting the candy in her very own bag.
Happy Birthday you little ham!
