Elitches!!!!

Today was our FIRST TRIP TO ELITCHES!!!! We had a blast, and enjoyed spending time with our family!!

We started at the train... not really all that exciting. But, we enjoyed grabbing the leaves off of the trees with AnnMarie as we went around.

Next we went on the Hot Air Balloons. Colton giggled and enjoyed it until he looked over the edge and saw how high we were. He got a little freaked, but got over it and resumed giggling.

Grandma, Ashley, and AnnMarie.

The Hollywood Tour Bus! Before take off.... arms in the air having fun.

In the Air! Everyone was having fun- except Coltie. He got a little scared as you can see by his face (look closely).
Our favorite part of the day. The boats. Noah was so nice to ride with Ashley. He made sure she kept her hands in the boat (he put them in for the next picture). Ashley did NOT want to leave them. Brandon was happy by himself as the caboose.

Colton and AnnMarie liked ringing the bell. Our Second trip around!! Thank you Noah for riding the boats so many times with us!! We are so lucky to have such great big cousins!Colton rode with Brandon the second round. They're buds.
That's all. We will definitely be back for more fun this summer!

Supermodels

The new pics of the twins are a result of Colton's flirting. We were shopping in Babies R Us and Colton smiled at the picture lady walking around the store looking for a model. She had a new backdrop that she needed pictures for, so she picked Coltie! We were so lucky to get all of these great pics and be in the sample album!

Arizona Trip!

We just returned from Scottsdale to visit Rachel and Scott. We stayed at a wonderful resort, with tons of fun water activities for the kids. Here is a recap:
We started out a little under the weather, so we cuddled with lambie and watched Elmo.
Pancakes for breakfast at the villa....

Splashing in the fountains with grandma.
First day at the pool...

Grandpa and Missy at the squirter.Ashley really enjoyed the lounge chairs. She ate snacks and watched all of the people, all the while thinking she was pretty cool.Dinner with the gang. There is a Mariachi Band above Colton on a balcony, and he had a blast dancing with Uncle Scott to the beat:

Ashley sampling some of Grandma's food.

The whole gang!

We were a little bummed here. We were waiting on the lounge chairs for the squirter pool to open. They look so sad!!

These buckets drop water on your head... we watched these to pass the time until the pool opened (we get up nice and early, so we had to wait for the pool to open at 9)

I think this was Ashley's favorite part of the trip. The lazy river. She loved floating and lounging on the tube around the resort. I'm sure she got that from me. Colton was scared of the squirting fountains around the lazy river, so he held on pretty close to Gramoo the whole way.

Lunch at the pool with daddy...

The twins are so advanced. Playing chess already. I knew they were gifted!

Colton contemplating his next move...

Colton LOVED Uncle Scottie. (He loved the treats Uncle Scottie and Aunt Rachel gave him, too).

I had to put in Colton's favorite part of the trip. The bus rides. Every time we took a bus, he would kick his feet in his seat and pretty much think he was the coolest kid around. I guess I should just start taking RTD everywhere.

That's all. We were so blessed to spend the weekend with our family and enjoy such a nice vacation!

Update

Just a couple of cute pics to keep everyone updated... these little angels change so quickly :)
Colty loves the little girl down the street, Marin. All of the kids in the neighborhood are so good to the twins, they run down to our house every time we drive by to see if the "babies can play". So sweet.

Yes, this is Ashley behind our new wheels with Daddy's shades on. No, the engine is not on. Yet. And, yes, that is Colton climbing across the passenger seat to help her operate this thing. Some people's kids. This would be the result of leaving Ashley to 4 skittles. I guess she forgot where her mouth was a few times.
Aunt Margo's birthday. I had an awesome idea of having the kids hold Happy Birthday signs for her. Several pictures and crumpled pieces of paper later...this was the best that I got. Neither of them looking, Colton laughing at his best friend, and Ashley being a clown. What can you do?
