La Nieve.... numero DOS!!!

Our second super blizzard. I have to say, I am done with the snow. Over it. Had enough. Ready for some sun. We were trapped inside at home... so this is how we spent our day:

First, we finger painted in the bathtub. Then we filled the tub up to wash off. It doesn't come off as easily as advertised... beware for any of you who want to attempt it with 2 little people (4 messy hands touching everything very quickly).

Then, we went into the snow to play. Very wet. We went sledding, sat in a cave with our friends from down the block , made snowangels, shoveled, and made a snowman. Colton named him Kota. Then, we were cold, hungry, and ready for nap!
kota.

yep... the snow comes up past our fence. Colton can climb over it so easily now! This made him a very happy boy!

So... it is still snowing. Hopefully it will be done soon. We are all ready for a little sun, but we had some fun today!

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter to everyone!!! We have had quite a busy Easter Week... truly. We celebrated last week with my family with a brunch and my parents house with all of the family. Yesterday was dinner with Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Darrell, and today was our family and Tyler's dad. We have had a lot of candy and presents to say the least. Here are a few pics...

We woke up completely surprised by the visit from the Easter Bunny.

He left behind nibbled carrots. Ashley could not get over this. She talked about it all morning, she also found them 1st because Colton slept until 8, whereas Missy got up around 6:45.
Colton is finally awake!! Time for the Easter egg hunt. The kids rounded them all up in about 3 minutes. I had anticipated it taking longer, but oh well.

All done. Time to open the eggs and have some breakfast.

Next it was off to Grandpa Scott's. We played lots of games with Noah, Annmarie, and Sophie. Colton also thought Aunt Belinda and his egg shooter were hilarious!

That's all for now. Thank you to all of our family for the wonderful get togethers and gifts... we are so blessed. Happy Easter!!!
