Petting Zoo/Naked
This week we went to Belleview Farm. We visited the petting zoo and rode the train around the park...
The kids loved petting the animals, Colton thought the lambs were so soft he just kept laying down on them.
Ashley loved the goats, Colton was a little scared of them!
Ashley also loved the turkey. She kept trying to pet it, which is against the rules. That is Ashley for you.
The train ride! We enjoyed our lap around the park, especially the tunnel.
The other part of my post is the naked business. I let the kids play outside in their diapers in the water since it is so hot... no need for a suit. However, Ashley has carried this business to the extreme. Every morning when she wakes up, she says "hot" and pulls her clothes off. I guess I don't blame her. Let's just hope this is a phase, and that she doesn't get "hot" later in life (like at her high school graduation) and rip her clothes off. Colton follows suit, he thinks it is cool because she does it.

The Zoo!!!!
Today we went to the zoo!!! We LOVE the zoo....
We stayed in our stroller for 2.5 seconds- but we at least posed for a pic with grandma.
Polar Bears! It's a good thing there was glass there, because the bear is about 1 foot away from Ashley.
She had to take a rest for a minute after the polar bear excitement.
The giraffes. We loved them. Colton kept screeching at them, like that was the sound they made. I, unfortunately don't really know what they sound like, so I let him do it.

The kids spotted a peacock, and took off after it.
Luckily, it outran them and got behind the bars to safety.
However, it came to visit us during lunch time and had a bite of Grandma's sandwich. Ashley screeched at it.

The elephants. We couldn't find these stupid things forever. Why do they hide the elephants???
This was the highlight of Colton's day. The yaks. When we told him they were called yaks, he ran around yelling, "yak, yak". It was awesome.

We measured ourselves next to a polar bear. Not quite as big.

Bye zebras!!!

We were worn out, time for a sippie and a treat.
This poor little tiger was so hot. He just laid there. Somebody get him some AC.
The rhinos. They were hot too. Colton tried to climb the fence to see them.
Ashley yelled at them. I think she said some naughty words in german, I'm not sure. But she was all business about those rhinos.

That's all. What a great day at the zoo....
