1st Day of Preschool

Today was the twins' 1st day of preschool. Well, actually not the TRUE first day, because it was only a half session and I stayed the whole time just as a 1st day orientation. But, we went through what a typical day would entail, and we toured the entire facility (we are attending Holy Cross Lutheran Early Learning Center). So, sniff, sniff... they are finally little people and I am going to have to leave them on Thursday! I actually teared up today, while I was there. The teacher (Mrs. Black, whom we LOVE), asked the children if they had found a play area that they enjoyed yet. Some children didn't answer, a couple answered, and when it was Colton and Ashley's turn, they were so big and independent and gave wonderful answers without any cue from me and didn't even remember that I was there. That's when I realized that they are going to have experiences now without me there, and make decisions on their own. I am so proud of my 2 little people.

Posing and sporting our new backpacks (that are enormous!)
